We are the specialists in solid wood furniture, wooden floating shelves and pine & oak fireplace beams. All made-to-order in our own workshop in the North East of England.
Our passion is to create the most beautiful and unique chunky wooden furniture, rustic wooden shelves and fireplace beams you could imagine, all handmade by our own skilled craftsmen.
We design all our solid wood furniture with real life in mind. It's beautiful wood furniture that'll withstand everyday life in your home.
Our furniture designer works closely with our workshop team to create our unique collections of furniture, like our Scandi-inspired Salters Oak collection of living and dining room furniture, our farmhouse style Derwent Collection, the simplistic Wansbeck range with its hidden storage, or the chunky rustic Chopwell Collection, right through to the industrial style Bowes Collection and Armstrong Collection and the creative, fun and quirky furniture collection that is the Ouseburn range. All named after and celebrating the beautiful places and talented people of our area.
To help you make the most of your gardens and outside space we also have a collection of garden furniture including solid oak outdoor dining furniture, oak planters, wall planters and a beautiful collection of accessories for outdoor dining and entertaining. These are available from early Spring each year until the end of the Summer.

All of our solid wood furniture, as well as all our wooden shelving and mantel beams, are made using only the best selection of solid pine and oak timber. Each chunky beam is chosen and cut to size in our workshop before being carefully sanded by hand.
Next, our polishing team uses the finest blends of wax polishes, to finish the timber in a choice of 5 wax colour shades for pine, or 2 (plus natural) for oak.
Once this has been completed, the craftsmen then create the piece of furniture or put the finishing touches to the shelves.
Whether it is as simple as pre-drilling the fixing holes into an oak mantel shelf or building a chunky solid wood bed frame or rustic dining table, our workshop makes each piece with the same amount of attention to detail and passion to achieve the highest quality rustic furniture and wooden shelving available.
